Required Clearances & Application
For Schreiber volunteer opportunities that routinely occur onsite at 625 Community Way and/or involve contact with children or program participants, the following Pennsylvania clearances are required:
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Certification
Free for volunteers
Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Record Check
Free for volunteers
If you already have these clearances and they are valid within the last 60 months, we will gladly accept those documents. Please be prepared to upload them at the end of the online application
Volunteer Opportunities

Respite Nights
Help give Schreiber families a well-deserved break during our spring and fall Respite Nights. Volunteers help supervise activities, engage with children, and create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for participating families.
Respite Nights are typically held on select Friday evenings from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM.

Club 625 Events
Volunteer at social events designed for teens and young adults in our Club 625 program. Volunteers help chaperone activities, encourage participation, and support inclusive gatherings that promote friendship, independence, and community connection.
