Support Schreiber through flexible volunteer opportunities
Required Clearances & Application
For Schreiber volunteer opportunities that routinely occur onsite at 625 Community Way and/or would require contact with a child during your volunteer duties, we ask that you obtain the following two clearances:
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Certification
Free for volunteers
Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Record Check
Free for volunteers
If you already have these clearances and they are valid within the last 60 months, we will gladly accept those documents. Please be prepared to upload them at the end of the
Volunteer Opportunities
Facilities & Grounds Support
Help maintain welcoming, accessible spaces for children and families through projects like gardening, mulching, weeding, seasonal cleanup, and general grounds maintenance.
Office & Administrative Support
Assist with day-to-day operational projects such as filing, organizing, photocopying, laminating, shredding, and preparing materials that help support Schreiber’s programs and staff.
Therapy Preparation Support
Therapy tools and materials are used throughout the day by children and therapists. Volunteers help clean, organize, and prepare resources that support therapy sessions and daily programming.
Marketing & Creative Support
Volunteers with skills in photography, videography, writing, editing, graphic design, or communications can help support Schreiber’s storytelling, outreach, and community engagement efforts.
