Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development provides therapy services, inclusive education and childcare programs, and recreational opportunities for infants, children, and adolescents with disabilities, developmental delays, acquired injuries, and other unique challenges.

Our Story
Founded in 1936 as the Society for Crippled Children and Adults, the Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development has a rich history of serving children with special needs.
Initially formed in response to the polio epidemic, we shifted our focus in the late 1980s to specialized pediatric therapy services. In 1994, we chose to disaffiliate from the Easter Seal Society to maintain local autonomy, and in 2018, we adopted our current name to better reflect the breadth of services we offer.

Schreiber Pediatric is a nonprofit organization that offers the finest in innovative therapy, education and recreation resources for children, teens and young adults. We provide everything needed for all of life’s challenges, so that families and children can reach their dreams and vision.
