Summer 2026 Camp Schreiber Volunteer Positions Are Now Full.
Required Clearances & Application
Because Camp Schreiber volunteers work directly with children and teens, the following Pennsylvania clearances are required:
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Certification
Free for volunteers
Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Record Check
Free for volunteers
If you already have these clearances and they are valid within the last 60 months, we will gladly accept those documents. Please be prepared to upload them at the end of the online application.

Who Can Volunteer?
Camp Schreiber volunteers are often:
- High school and college students
- Individuals exploring careers in education, therapy, or healthcare
- Community members who enjoy working with children
- Returning volunteers and former campers
*Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
**A minimum commitment of two consecutive volunteer days is required.
What Volunteers Help With
Volunteers support a variety of activities throughout the camp day, including:
- Arts and crafts
- Sports and games
- Music and movement activities
- Group activities and social interaction
- Camper encouragement and participation support
Every volunteer helps create a fun, welcoming environment where campers can build confidence, friendships, and independence.
