‘Springtime in Paris’ Gala Raises nearly $60,000 for Children with Special Needs in Lancaster County

(LANCASTER, Pa.)-It was ‘Springtime in Paris’ at Schreiber Pediaric’s 28th Annual Gala at Bent Creek Country Club on Saturday, March 27. The event raised nearly $60,000 (gross) to support the 4,000 children with special needs that receive therapy services at the Center. Local artist, Kim DePaul, created a scene from a Parisian café that served as the inspiration for the occasion.

Guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a string quartet upon arrival and mingled around enticing silent auction tables. During the dinner hour, they were formally introduced to this year’s three Ambassadors and their families, Cole Krimmel, Grace Randazzo and Drew Stewart, and participated in competitive bid wars for live auction items like Philadelphia Eagles’ tickets, summer beach homes, artwork and jewelry.

Special thanks to this year’s event sponsors: Sequinox, Georgelis Law Firm, Murray Risk Management and Insurance, Elizabethtown Dental Associates, Fulton Bank, Highmark Blue Shield and many others. As well as to Brenneman Printing, Special Occasions, Trump Tschudy Design, Gallery dePaul and Ron Tschudy for the generous donation of their services, time and talent.

Schreiber Pediatric is the only outpatient pediatric rehab facility in Pennsylvania accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and one of only six in the entire United States. The Center offers support to any family in need, regardless of their ability to pay.
