Schreiber Pediatric’s ‘An Evening on Broadway’ Gala Raises $78,000 for Children with Special Needs in Lancaster County

(LANCASTER, Pa.) – It was an elegant evening on Broadway at Schreiber Pediaric’s 30th Annual Gala at Lancaster Country Club on Saturday, March 24. The event raised $78,000 to support the nearly 4,000 children with special needs that receive therapy services at the Center.

Upon arrival, guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a classic photo booth, music by the Lampeter-Strasburg High School Singers and mingled around enticing silent auction tables. During the dinner hour, they were formally introduced to this year’s four Ambassadors and their families, Brandon Hess, Rylee Henry, Ashlyn Shaffer and Ryan Duh, and watched a moving video testimony from two Schreiber alumni, Justin Walker and Katie Martin, about what the Center has done for each of them personally. Following dinner, guests participated in competitive bid wars for live auction items followed by dancing to the local band, Good2Go.

Special thanks to this year’s event sponsors: Georgelis Law Firm, Turkey Hill Minit Markets, Fulton Bank, Highmark Blue Shield and many others. As well as to Brenneman Printing, Special Occasions, DBH Designs, Trump Tschudy Design, Ron Tschudy and Lancaster Country Club for the generous donation of their services, time and talent.

Schreiber Pediatric is one of only six outpatient pediatric rehabilitation facilities in the entire United States with national accreditation. The Center offers support to any family in need, regardless of their ability to pay. For more information, please visit www.schreiberpediatric.org.
