Schreiber Pediatric Offers FREE Workshop on Parenting Children with Autism

(Lancaster, PA) – Beginning on Tuesday, February 9, Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center will be offering a weekly workshop on parenting children with autism titled ‘On the Spectrum’ in the Multipurpose Room of the Center. The intention of the course is to provide fundamental tools, techniques and support to parents of children with autism spectrum disorder in order to create loving, encouraging, and connected family relationships. Taught by a former COBYS Family Services Life Instructor, Alice Steiert, this ten-week program will run from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings through April 13 and is open to parents of children in preschool or early elementary school.
