Penn State University Head Coaches,Bill O’Brien, Russ Rose and Cael Sanderson to Visit Schreiber Pediatric
April 30, 2013After hearing about nationally accredited Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center and its services for children with special needs in Central Pennsylvania, Coach O’Brien decided to add a stop to the caravan for a tour of the facility and meet and greet with Schreiber families and staff. Coach O’Brien’s ten-year-old son, Jack, has a rare neurological disorder called Lissencephaly and is familiar with the trials Schreiber families face, as well as the need for financial resources to make expert pediatric care available to all children here in Central Pennsylvania.

WHY: To celebrate Penn State Athletics and to raise awareness about Schreiber Pediatric and its invaluable resource to our local community.
PHOTO & INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES: Following a brief tour of the facility, there will be a meet and greet for Schreiber families and staff with Coach O’Brien, Coach Rose and Coach Sanderson in the Multipurpose Room at the Center. This will be an opportunity to interview the Penn State University coaches, Schreiber President, James DeBord and other Schreiber staff members, and Schreiber parents, as well as film/photograph children who attend the Center for therapy interacting with Coach O’Brien, Coach Rose and Coach Sanderson.
