Bandstand ‘Dancing Through the Decades’ Gala Raises Over $72,000 For Children with Special Needs in Lancaster County

(LANCASTER, Pa.) – President James DeBord, welcomed guests to Schreiber Pediaric’s 32nd Annual Gala, Bandstand ‘Dancing Through the Decades,’ at Lancaster Country Club on Saturday, March 153. The event raised over $72,000 to support thousands of children with special needs that receive therapy services at the Center.

Upon arrival, guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while mingling around enticing silent auction tables. During the dinner hour, they were formally introduced to this year’s four Ambassadors and their families, Sam Stover, Lauren Ebersole, Eden Grosh and Lucas Campbell, and watched a moving home video created by a Schreiber parent about their family’s experience at the Center. Following dinner, guests participated in competitive bid wars for live auction items followed by dancing to the local band, Mama Tried.

Special thanks to this year’s top event sponsors, Capital Blue, MXL Industries, and National Penn, as well as Highmark, Design Data, Murray Securus, PA Leadership Charter School, Simeral Construction and Barley Snyder. Brenneman Printing, Fortna Auctioneers, Special Occasions, DBH Designs, Trump Tschudy Design, Ron Tschudy and Lancaster Country Club also deserve recognition for the generous donation of their services, time and talent.
