36th Annual Rubber Duckie Race & Festival

Whether you adopt rubber duckies of your own, or sign-up to be a duckie seller you will be supporting our mission and helping #SchreiberKids reach their fullest potential.

Adopting duckies automatically enters you for our grand prize giveaway. Winners will be announced the Monday after the 36th Annual Rubber Duckie Race & Festival.

Pre-order your unlimited game play wristbands for only $25 and enjoy 3 hours of non-stop fun! You can also purchase a wristband on the day of the event for $35. One wristband per person. As a special treat, race registrants and those who purchase a quack pack, flock, or diamond duck pack will receive an additional discount on preordered game play wristbands. *No refunds on wristbands or game tickets.

First place prizes will be given to the top individual Duckie Dash runners in each age group.

Each member of the top Duckie Dash relay team will receive a prize.

Each Duckling Dash participant will receive a commemorative race medal and the top runner in each age group will receive a first-place prize.

Giveaway winners will be announced online the Monday following the Duckie Race & Festival. Duckie dash racers will automatically be entered in our grand prize giveaway. For more chances to win our grand prize giveaway you can also adopt duckies! Each adopted duckie enters you for a chance to win big!

The group or individual who sells the most duckies will win our top seller’s prize.

From passing out race packets, selling game tickets or staffing a game, craft, or giveaway table, or handing out prizes to our race winners, we have volunteer opportunities for both individuals and groups interested in supporting this event.

1. When is this year’s event?
   Our Rubber Duckie Race & Festival will be held on Sunday, September 8 from 2PM until 5PM
2. Where is the Rubber Duckie Race & Festival taking place this year?
   This year’s event will be held at The Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development, 625 Community Way, Lancaster PA 17603.
3. Where will the rubber duckies race?
   No rubber duckies will be racing this year. This year it’s YOUR turn to race! There will be a 1 mile Duckie Dash race for people of all abilities ages 13+ as well as a relay option, and a 100 meter Duckling Dash race for kids of all abilities ages 2-12.
4. How can I sign up to race in the Duckie or Duckling Dash?
   Race registration will open on May 24th. Check back for a link to our race registration page then!
5. When does early bird race registration close?
   August 1st is the last day of early bird registration.
6. What activities will take place at the Festival?
   Free to attend, our festival will feature a craft tent, DJ, pony rides, and food trucks. Carnival games will also be available for play with the purchase of an unlimited play wristband, or game tickets.
7. Is this event rain or shine?
   Yes. Our 36^th Annual Rubber Duckie Race & Festival will be held whether rain or shine. We will have all our games under a large tent which will offer protection both from sun and rain. Because this event is rain or shine, we will not offer refunds if you choose not to attend due to weather.
8. When do Duckie sales launch?
   Our Duckie sales season officially kicks off on May 24th. This will also be the first day of race registration
9. How may I adopt a duck?
   Rubber duckies can be purchased online or in person through one of our various duckie sellers. Schreiber families are also welcome to adopt duckies at the reception desk upon check-in or check-out.
