S.T.A.R.S. Preschool is open to all children ages 3-5, and is one of only a few preschools based on 'reverse-mainstreaming,' a term which refers to expanding what once was a program exclusively designed for children with special needs to include all children.

S.T.A.R.S. Philosophy

• ALL CHILDREN have the intrinsic need to be included in their communities.
• ALL CHILDREN need to be treated equal and fairly in a safe and caring environment that fosters maximum learning and independence.
• ALL CHILDREN need to be encouraged to develop friendships and accept one another's uniqueness, as well as realize their sameness.

S.T.A.R.S. year-round program promotes continuing progress to reach educational and developmental milestones. The experienced staff at S.T.A.R.S. Preschool includes certified teachers and administrators, a licensed social worker, qualified assistants and community volunteers.
