Team USA Spirit at Schreiber: Center Celebrates London Games with Olympic-themed Programming

(LANCASTER, Pa.) – In honor of the 2012 London Olympics, Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center is hosting their own games! Starting Monday, July 30, children coming to the Center will be able to emulate their favorite competing athletes and take home a medal as part of their therapy play.

The games will include an equestrian jumpers course (with stick pony steeds, of course!), a gymnastics station, a field hockey station, a discus and javelin throw, as well as a create-your-own medal craft and champion photo booth! All activities will take place in the Multipurpose Room of the Center and help participating children develop their fine motor, gross motor and communication skills while meeting their individualized therapy goals.

The Schreiber Olympics will take place daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, August 3. All clients of Schreiber Pediatric and their siblings are invited to participate.

Go Team USA and let the games begin!
