Schreiber Pediatric Celebrates Grandparent’s Week

(Lancaster, PA) – On Thursday morning, March 14, in Schreiber Pediatric’s S.T.A.R.S. Preschool classroom, five generations will come together to celebrate Grandparent’s Day with Abby and Trevor Millay-Stipe. Great, great grandparents, Edna and Clarence Lloyd, great grandparents, Vic and Sandy Barr, grandparents, Bob and Lynne Leed, and their mother, Tiffany Millay, will enjoy a music program, refreshments and show and tell with their youngest family members.

This event is part of Schreiber Pediatric’s Grandparent’s Week, a Center-wide program inviting grandparents (or grandfriends!), to attend therapy with their grandchild and learn more about Schreiber Pediatric and the work of its therapists and staff. Therapy sessions will incorporate special projects for grandparents and grandchild to work on together and each of the preschool and daycare classrooms have events scheduled throughout the day on Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15. A warm welcome in the lobby with fresh flowers and refreshments is available for any early arrivals throughout the week.

Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that provides physical, occupational and speech-language therapy, as well as educational and recreational programs to thousands of children in Lancaster County living with congenital and acquired disabilities, and developmental delays.
