Ten local adult artists, as well as the work of some of Schreiber Pediatric’s adorable preschoolers, will be showcased at the Parish Resource Center, 633 Community Way, Lancaster. The Schreiber students participate in an inclusional preschool program meaning the classroom is a 50/50 ratio of children with special needs and typically developing children. The artwork they have created was part of a therapeutic process to develop fine motor skills and socialization while celebrating the season. Paintings made from evergreen branches and collages of wrapping paper are some of the visual treats on display.
In addition to the collaborative art show opening, computer kiosks will be available for guests to make an ‘extraordinary’ gift to either non-profit.
Extra special event times include a morning “coffee break” from 10AM to noon; “tea time” from 2:00 to 4:00PM and a “reception” from 6:00 to 8:00PM but refreshments and ExtraGive time will be available all day. The art show will continue to run Monday through Friday from 10AM to 4PM through Wednesday, December 12.
