Schreiber Celebrates 26th Annual Rubber Duckie Raceâ„¢ & Festival with Duckies in Disguise

(LANCASTER, Pa.) – Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center will celebrate its 26th Annual Rubber Duckie RaceTM and Festival with Duckies in Disguise, on Sunday, July 27th at Lancaster County Central Park.

Purchase a single Duck ($5), Quack Pack (3 for $10), Lucky Duckie (7 for $25), Daffy Dozen (12 for $50) or entire Flock (25 for $100) and become part of the 20,000 rubber duckies that will swim down the Conestoga River in support of thousands of children with special needs receiving treatment at Schreiber Pediatric. Ducks are on sale now at the Center, online at www.schreiberpediatric.org/ducks or at the festival on Sunday. For each purchase, supporters of the event receive a souvenir rubber duckie, dressed as a character from this year’s Duckies in Disguise theme. Souvenir ducks include mermaids, sock monkeys, horses, ninjas, monsters, aliens and many more.

Duck supporters and racers are encouraged to then join the family fun on July 27th as the ducks take to the water! The Rubber Duckie Raceâ„¢ & Festival includes carnival games, pony rides, inflatables, face painting, crafts, BINGO, food vendors and more! The festival kicks-off at 2 p.m. and the race starts at 5 p.m. with WGAL’s Joe Calhoun and The Breakfast Club’s Bryan Jordan from 101 The Rose emceeing the excitement.

The first duck to cross the finish line will win the grand prize – a $1,000 Visa Gift Card courtesy of Susquehanna Bank PA. Other prizes for the top ten include a Fine Dining Package, a Pampering Package, a Home Improvement Package, a Birthday Party Package, tickets to local attractions like Hersheypark and much more! Ducks who place eleventh through fifty will each receive an official Rubber Duckie Raceâ„¢ T-shirt and Italian ice coupon to Rita’s Italian Ice, Manheim Pike, and the last duck to cross the finish line will receive a jar of molasses!
