Golf Classic Raises Over $17,000 for Schreiber Pediatric

(LANCASTER, Pa.)-— Enthusiastic golfers hit the course on Monday, October 1, 2012 for a good cause. Schreiber Pediatric’s 2nd Annual Golf Classic at Bent Creek Country Club, Lititz, was raising funds to support its therapeutic services for children with special needs in Central PA.

Perfect fall weather lead to a record number of participants who together raised over $17,000! Golf Classic committee chairman, Jim Eberle, commented, “I sincerely appreciate the support of the staff, sponsors, volunteers, and participants. Without their generous contributions, the fun and charity associated with this tournament would not be possible.”

Event sponsors included GSE Systems, Herley Industries and Susquehanna Bank. The event was also generously supported by MXL Industries, Inc., Ream Jewelers and Argires, Becker, Marotti & Westphal.
