Catherine Donohue Earns Certification in Language Special Instruction

(Lancaster, PA) – Catherine Donohue, Early Intervention Teacher for Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center, recently earned certification in Pennsylvania’s Early Intervention Language Special Instruction. Donohue is the only instructor in Lancaster County working with children age birth to three with this credential.

The certification, awarded by Early Intervention Technical Assistance and approved by the Bureau of Early Intervention Services, signifies that Donohue possesses the knowledge and practical experience of routine-based language instruction and can engage parents in the process.

To become certified, Donohue completed five days of classroom instruction as well as a videotaped assignment demonstrating language special instruction strategies.
