‘A Black & White Masquerade’ Gala Raises over $109,000 for Children with Special Needs in Lancaster County

(LANCASTER, Pa.)-It was a black and white affair at Schreiber Pediaric’s 29th Annual Gala at Bent Creek Country Club on Saturday, March 26. The event raised over $109,000 (gross) to support the nearly 4,000 children with special needs that receive therapy services at the Center.

Upon arrival, guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a classic photo booth and a trio of musicians and mingled around enticing silent auction tables. During the dinner hour, they were formally introduced to this year’s four Ambassadors and their families, Manny Burden, Ruslan Burden, Nicole Carpenter and Tristan Haas, and heard moving testimony from Tristan about what the Center has done for him personally. Following dinner, guests participated in competitive bid wars for live auction items like black and white diamond jewels, a French chateau, artwork, football tickets and more.

Special thanks to this year’s event sponsors: Sequinox, Georgelis Law Firm, Turkey Hill Minit Markets, Fulton Bank/Fulton Financial Advisors and many others. As well as to Brenneman Printing, Special Occasions, Trump Tschudy Design, Ron Tschudy and Bent Creek Country Club for the generous donation of their services, time and talent.
