3rd Annual Golf Classic Raises $21,800 for Schreiber Pediatric

(LANCASTER, Pa.) – Enthusiastic golfers hit the course on Monday, September 30, 2013 for a good cause. Schreiber Pediatric’s 3rd Annual Golf Classic at Bent Creek Country Club was raising funds to support therapeutic services for children with special needs in Central Pennsylvania.

The gorgeous weather lead to a record number of participants who together raised over $21,800 for the Center. Golf Classic committee chairman, Jim Eberle, spoke at the dinner thanking sponsors, participants and volunteers, as well as emphasizing the importance of financial supporting a place like Schreiber in the community, “I am lucky to be a father who has never needed the services that Schreiber provides. But for those who do, there is no place like it. For children needing long-term therapy, there is no other local solution.”
