Food Discovery Camp

Turn your anxious eater into a happy eater!

"I don't eat veggies!"
Sound familiar? Then sign up for our new Food Discovery Camp, scheduled for two sessions this summer. Children ages 5 to 7 will be encouraged to experiment with new or existing foods in different ways to expand their present food choices. Participants will be involved in handling, cutting and preparing food such as sandwiches, chicken, fruits, pastas and vegetables. Only child-safe knives will be used, and no child will be forced to eat anything. They will be encouraged to experiment with other ways of preparing it food so it may be made more to their individual liking or tolerance. Although camp participants may be challenged within this camp setting, they should come away with ideas for expanding food choices. And they should be more comfortable with the way food feels, smells and looks.
