School Age Children

Kids Yoga

Schreiber offers Kids Yoga classes under the direction of Denisha Kline, a pediatric physical therapist who is also an approved Kundalini Yoga teacher through Radiant Child Yoga. Yoga is a union of body, mind and spirit and it assists in improving self-regulation. Yoga for children and young adults offers a range of benefits, including:

  • Promotes and maintains strength and flexibility
  • Teaches concentration, body awareness, stress management, responsibility and discipline
  • Boosts creativity and confidence.

What: Kids Yoga classes
When: Monday nights starting Jan. 27 and running for six weeks through March 2
Where: Schreiber
Times: Class 1 for ages 6-13, 5-5:45 p.m.; Class 2 for ages 14-young adult, 6-6:45
How much: The registration fee for the six-week class is $65 per child, due at the time of registration.
Note: Class will be limited to 10 students. Plan to bring your own yoga mat. Wear comfortable clothing.

COMING SOON - Social Skills

Participants learn to incorporate age-appropriate interpersonal communication, problem-solving and anger-management skills into their daily routines. The program offers clients an opportunity to develop trust in others while increasing self-esteem through social outings.
