Dear Friends,

As many of you know, Schreiber Pediatric's Annual Rubber Duckie Race™ & Festival was canceled for the first time in twenty-two years and we need your help! The Center provides therapy services to nearly 4,000 children with special needs each year, and relies on fundraising events like the Rubber Duckie Race™ & Festival to fulfill its charitable mission of never turning a child away regardless of their family's financial situation.

Prior to Sunday, this year's Rubber Duckie Race™ & Festival had seen strong ticket and t-shirt sales which meant we needed to raise just $18,000 to make this event a financial success. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans for us. Torrential downpour, lightening and strong gusts of wind threatened staff and volunteer safety and forced the Center to pack up and head home just a few hours shy of the duck drop.

The loss of funds from this event will greatly impact Schreiber Pediatric's ability to serve some children over the next few months. So that is why I am asking you today, as a friend and supporter of Schreiber Pediatric, if you would be willing to consider a gift of any amount, large or small. Your donation will put us one step closer to continuing to provide premier outpatient therapy services in Lancaster County and the surrounding areas to every child in need.
