The Extraordinary Give is less than two months away. The past few years, thanks to your generous support, we have been fortunate to finish among the top 10 nonprofits in terms of dollars raised and donations received. And that money has helped us provide services for kids like Shelby Stroman and Kami Appleby. With your help, we can do that again this year. Here's the plan.

The basic idea of the 2015 Extraordinary Give is for nonprofits to activate donors, one at a time, to go online during the Give and make a donation. However, our business supporters can play a role in the day -- and we hope you will.

Sometimes, Matt Woods wonders why he took up competing in triathlons. The miles and miles of running, biking and swimming can be grueling. Dragging his butt out for another 6-hour bike ride can seem like torture. But he has a little extra motivation as he trains for his next triathlon in July: Schreiber kiddos.

It's budget time here at Schreiber. Our fiscal year ends June 30, so we're thinking a lot about revenue and expenses. One thing that sticks out: It's amazing how many different community events raise money for Schreiber during the course of a year.
