Current Recipient of Services: Jana Kuhns, 16, of Quarryville
"I would still be in a wheelchair if it weren't for my physical therapists. I wouldn't be helping at home if it weren't for my occupational therapists. And I would have trouble talking if it weren't for my speech therapists. Schreiber is making dreams come true in the lives of the kids that go there for treatment..."
Former Recipient of Services: Libby Lucas, 18, of Lititz
"My wonderful therapists wanted success for me as much as I wanted it, and that is what made the difference. I will admit that I was lacking hope in the beginning, and some days it was hard for me to get out of the wheelchair and attempt to walk. However, they all supported me and knew that I was going to do it. With their help, I did."
Current or Former Parent: Kathleen Steinbaecher, 50, of Wrightsville
"Schreiber is helping parents and caregivers create fulfilling lives for children with physical and developmental difficulties. These children are part of our community's future."
Worked with Edna Schreiber: Earl Kreider, 75, of East Earl
"Without Miss Schreiber's encouragement, vision, wisdom, understanding, sensitivity and discipline over the many years I knew her and worked with her, God only knows where I might be today!"
